Disappointed guest

My husband booked a surprise getaway this weekend. The place seemed amazing at first. Other guests arrived just before 10 at night, the establishment requests all guests to be given keys and rooms by the latest 7pm on check in. My husband and I were already in bed before that time, only to be disturbed by these inconsiderate guests. We heard high heels running up and down the stairs on the side continuously as well as running through rooms and moving furniture. We reported it to the owners of the property and we were told they arrived late and they are settling in. It's nearly 2 hours of selling in?! My husband paid for this weekend away, we are also entitled to rest and relax. The male owner told my husband under his breath that it's f***ing pathetic. So then, why not let us book out, give us our outstanding money and we will gladly leave. Every excuse has been given as to why they can't move us, refund us our accommodate our entitled stay. What have these places come to?!
