They come to put a ceiling in,the first day I covered mostly everything because of dust. Everything went well. The next day I took off the sheets I covered my TV and dressing table, and was sitting on my bed because I didn't want to leave them alone in my bedroom. Paul's son was on duty and come to me and said I can go on with my homework, his staff is trustworthy, they will not take anything that doesn't belong to them. So I took his word and went downstairs and come back after a while. Quinton was mostly sitting in his truck smoking. They finished up and left. That evening the 17th of February 2021 We were packing to leave for a holiday. I open my drawer and saw my 2 Diamond rings was over Hundred thousand rand. I directly call Paul at his home and told him my 💍 💍 are missing,he still promised me that that is not his staff and I must look again. After 12 that night the police arrived to take a statement. Paul phoned early the next morning to asked if we find it, I said no and he said he will let them take a polygraph test. They only did it after a month and the results came back with 2 names that I said from the beginning I suspect those 2.,because the 1 asked me that morning can he charge his phone and I said yes. The accountant said he will help us in every way he can. He also said they will pay the access which I still think was ridiculous. The one ring was insured and the other one not. We went to their office where Shawn and the owner discuss how much they are prepared to pay us. We must wait in the car he will come and call as, it wasn't long Shawn came out and said they decided they are not going to pay for anything. In the meeting the owner himself said they had a case, /s long time ago were another clients things also went missing. They didn't even had a address or ID'S from there staff that they were saying we can Trust them. I think that they should have assurance for incase something like that happens. Our place insurance is at Standard bank and they do all the work for Standard Bank. They got the odd asty to tell me that it is actually my fault. It is my house and if they didn't said to me I can go on nothing will happened I would not have left the room.
