Hibberdene beach hotel a disappointment

We were very disappointed. I tried to book online on behalf of a delegate coming for business for one night. We got no response. On the second day I called to enquirer, there was no response on their phones. On the third day We drove to the hotel to figure out what the problem was. The gates were wide open and the door to reception has no lock on it the reception was deserted. Open reception book and bunch of keys lying on the counter. After looking around for more than 20 minutes we finally found a lady sitting on the bed who had to find another lady who told us that the owner was in the bath? We were then told that they do not accept bookings unless they are for 3 nights are more. When I asked why we had not been informed of this, she could not answer. Thank you for not accepting our booking. It would have been embarrassing for us if something happened to our delegate due to their lack of security.
