Solar Geyser Installation

I had Hi Temp install a retrofit solar panel to my existing hot water geyser in 2009. A few years later, the pump blew and I replaced it. The geyser started leaking recently so I contacted my insurance company who sent out their plumber to replace it.

When the plumber came to site, they said they could not replace the geyser as there are parts missing, the wiring is dangerous and *******ly done (bare wires attached to the roof trusses), the plumbing of the solar panel is a disaster (the water feed to the panel has been plumbed from the hot water outlet, goes to the panel and returns to the hot water outlet), there was no vacuum breaker or pressure release valve fitted (possibly why the geyser blew in the first place) etc.

I contacted Hi Temp to ask them to rectify the installation and they refused saying the installation is out of warranty. While I understand that the warranty has expired, I am not asking to have worn out parts replaced at no cost. What I expect is that the installation is done correctly, safely and complies with industry norms. Worn out parts I am happy to pay for.

Apparently the wiring done is so bad that should the house have burned down due to a wiring fault, the chances are that my insurance company would not have paid out due to the state of the geyser wiring.
