Hi-Temp (HomeTech) - Five of their Water Pipes split in 15 months (Call Out = R2300 a time).

Hi-Temp (sister company to HomeTech) have a great product it works well when it works, but, their after sales service is shockingly disappointing. I got the complete Solar Pool Heating system from them and paid the additional to rather have them the Fundi's install it. My system was 13 months old, when I got my first leak. The poor quality Connectors they supp**** and Installed between their Solar Water Heating panels. They quoted R2300 as a call out fee, (Travel & Labour), to come and fix one cracked pipe. Fortunately, their response is so slow, I had another 3 connectors, crack over the next 2 months, otherwise I would have been charged 4 x R2300 = R9200 for every "Call out" They would not give me the owner's Cell number (Dominic), but, I went as far as asking them to have him phone me, because I am that disappointed. I eventually got a Plumber who came out and Charged a reasonable price to change ALL the Connector pipes between the Solar Water Heating panels, as by then there were FIVE that had cracked.
