Bad Service

Contacted hi temp and requested a quote on a pool cover and delivery to my premises, got the quote and paid promptly. Was then told I need to wait 10 working days for item to be shipped from Durban offices. When I requested feedback on delivery of my cover 10 working days later, I received no response and had to type a second email. Was then told covers will be in cape town the following Thursday. Then I requested when it will be delivered to my premises and was told it is an error on my side and for me to check the invoice. The R400 is for the US the customer to to pay for HITEMP to get the product which they sell to there premises in Cape Town and not delivery to my premises. Bad communication and service from this company and a lack of care for the customer. THEY THINK IT ACCEPTABLE FOR THE CUSTOMER TO PAY TO GET THEIR PRODUCTS TO THERE BRANCHES!!

Dear Customer,
During the month of November & December Pool blankets were in high demand due to the water restrictions in Western Cape.
Because there were no rolls of blanket and a 2 month waiting period for welding the blankets we decided to freight blankets from our Durban & Johannesburg Branch. This was done to ensure more blankets would be available to ease the water evaporation in Western Cape. Naturally there would be a cost to freight these blankets which was passed onto the customer. We used Timefreight & Kargo Couriers for this as they offered best rates.
Being high season, the courier companies often ran behind schedule with delivery & we did our best to notify clients using email and WinSMS. We manufactured & supp**** over 5000 sqm of pool blanket in November & December.
It would have been an impossible task to delivery each and every blanket to clients all over western cape. This is why we notified clients where to collect in ****arney Gardens and Montague Gardens.
We will gladly refund you the transporters fee from Joberg to Cape Town should you feel that you were mislead in anyway.
Kind Regards
