Hi q went for exhaust landed up with R6890 damages

Friendly service how ever after exhaust was fitted I was requested to put a new oil switch as my fiat was leaking oil so the switch got fitted and they landed up messing up the computer box, they towed the vehicle to Bosch center who got the car running but now I'm setting with a bill of R6890. All this from only wanting an exhaust done (which I paid for) after contacting head office and the branch they said it's our problem as they are not machanics. If this is true and they did not know what they where doing, why fiddle. I'm just disappointed as the car drove their and existed with R6890 damages with hi q having no sympathy for their error.
