Hi-Q Watermeyer

HI-Q WATERMEYER - THE ONE YOU CAN'T TRUST

My story began on the 17th of August, I arrive at my customers offices in Pretoria to find smoke emanating from my cars engine bay. After the meeting I went to the nearest "specialists", HI-Q WATERMEYER. I explained the problem and suspected the brakes. From HI-Q's inspection they concluded the brakes had been damaged due to over heating cause by the brakes not releasing as they should under normal operation.

I returned to Johannesburg with the assurance that the problem was solved. However arriving home the same problem persisted. I contacted HI-Q who suggested the issue may be elsewhere and that I should take the vehicle in to the manufacturers agents.....already not impressed with HI-Q.

The next day Audi inspected my vehicle to find a hole in the coolant hose was leaking coolant onto the exhaust. Audi inspected the discs and pads that HI-Q claimed to be warped due to heat, Audi concluded they were in good condition and there was no sign of any damage. Co-incidentally I had the discs and pads installed in December while on holiday.

I contacted HI-Q and informed them of the situation, I kept getting promises that they would "do" something. I had to continuously contact them to find out what they were going to do until my last message which was ignored. Hence the belated post!

If, like me, you don't want to waste your hard earned cash unnecessarily beware of "professionals" who will put money ahead of morals.
