Blatantly called a **** in store - Bad service

I went into Hi-q howick today, 10/3/2021, after many years of only going to this outlet for all my tyre needs. I installed 2 new front tyres on 20/2/2021, after an incident with a pothole, I called them and let them know I would be coming in, the nuts on my wheels were so badly stripped that I couldn’t remove the flat tyre , I got a towing company out to help.

Manager at the outlet said the nuts were an issue with my vehicle type. I made it over to Them after work and when processing my TyreSurance claim, they denied it was ever registered. The lady he called from claims also told him it’s not done. After I said it was just 14 days ago, I recall I did it, they still refused it was registered.

I was 100% sure I did it and certain they would pick it up, they said I was mistaken and said there is nothing they can do, this after checking with my reg number, name and number, I was called a ****.

When I asked them to just put a new tyre on, this after they removed my spare, took the damaged tyre off the rim, only then they realise they don’t have my tyre in stock.

I left after letting the manager know, in front of the franchise owner, just how disappointed I was and that I would not return to Hi-q.

I got home and found proof of the tyresurance registration and have it now on email.

TyreSurance is nonsense , false advertising, offensive service, calling me a ****.

Will never support this or any other Hi-q again.
