Very disappointing experience.
They replaced the brake pads and ventilated discs on one of our company vehicles. When I queried why this was necessary at only around 10,000 km, the consultant told me that, depending on driving style, it is perfectly normal to replace brake pads and ventilated discs at that mileage. I then asked whether this means we would have to replace brake pads and discs every three months, based on the mileage the vehicle does. His answer was yes. I do not accept that as a reasonable explanation. Brake components are safety-critical, and if pads and ventilated discs are genuinely wearing out after such low mileage, there should be a clear technical reason, proper inspection evidence, and a proper explanation. A vague statement that this is “normal” is not good enough. This raises serious concerns about the quality of the advice being given to customers. Based on this experience, I would recommend getting an independent second opinion before approving similar brake-related work.
