Wont give me my old tyres

I fitted two 175/6514 Firestone tyres at Hi Q at the Hannaford branch ,Phoenix ,Durban on 2022/03/23 at about 4pm. I spoke to Vivian and told him that i want my old tyres back to give to the gardner.

Vivian responded that the price for the new tyres was because i had to leave the old behind. I was prepared to pay in the difference to buy my own tyres back.

My old tyres had over 50% life. The only reason i changed them is because my car suspension was redone and i had to get the alignment done, so i decided to put two new tyres. When i got home , i realised i left the tyres behind, so i called this morning and Vivian told me sorry , the tyres were thrown away. This is not acceptable as i usuallt do fitment at other places , i always get my tyres back if i felt like.

Kindly help resolve.
