Customer must be able to choose method of payment

Saturday the 6th of February I went to Shortys tyres which is a Hi-Q franchise to have four new tires fitted to my vehicle.<br> <br> Firstly the person assisted me with the inquiry / order was not fluent in English.<br> <br> I agreed to the quote and the fitment commenced.<br> Everything went according to plan.<br> <br> I gave them my American Express card for payment.<br> After two attempts by the newbie salesman a senior assisted him and informed me that American Express cards are not accepted by them.<br> <br> Luckily I possess a Visa card as well and could pay for services rendered.<br> <br> I feel that the customer should have the choice of payment!
