<p>Hi-Q Tyre Fitment Centre Comarovie Branch Dishonesty Policy towards Pensioners</p> <p>I am a 66 year old pensioner who currently resides at a Retirement Village.I drive a Toyota Yaris and I use my vehicle on a daily basis to drive to work and back home.<br />I drive my vehicle to visit my daughter's residence every second day.</p> <p>On the weekends I use my vehicle to pick up my grand-daughter to do her rounds. occasionaly I use my vehicle to visit my grand-son.</p> <p>I am an independant pensioner who is very dependant on my vehicle.<br />I have my vehicle serviced on a regular basis.</p> <p>On the 28th of May 2017 I took my vehicle to a Hi-Q Tyre Fitment Centre at Comaroview Shopping Centre which is based in Oakdene. This tyre fitmentcentre was highly recommended to me by friends and colleagues. On my route to the tyre fitment centre I picked up my blind friend whom I regulary pick up to do his rounds.</p> <p>We arrived at Hi-Q after 2pm in the afternoon. The tyre fitment centre was not to busy that afternoon. I spoke to Glen who is the manager at that tyre fitment centre. I confirmed with Glen on a verbal quote for 2 new rear tyres.</p> <p>The quote included fitment and balancing. After agreeing to to the quote Glen instructed the tyre fitment crew to proceed with the fitmentand balancing. On completion of the work, I paid for the work as agreed by all parties.</p> <p>I was given my invoice and was informed by Glen on all<br />the guarantees involved.</p> <p>On the 15thof July 2017 I went to a function which was held at a conference centre in Kibler Park. I parked my vehicle at the venue's parking lot. After the function I got into my vehicle to return home. I tried to reverse<br />my vehicle, but my vehicle did not move at all. I tried to drive my vehicle forward, but my vehicle did not budge in that direction at all.</p> <p>After climbing out of my vehicle<br />to investigate the matter, I discovered that the left rear<br />left tyre was flat. I called for assistance at the venue to aid me to change my flat tyre.</p> <p>As it was on the weekend I could not go to Hi-Q to have the tyre inspected. On the 17th of July 2017 I went to Hi-Q after work to have the tyre inspected. I spoke to Glen and explained to him what occured over the weekend. After Glen had the tyre examined he informed me as follows<br />:</p> <p>1. Glen would not help at all as the tyre puncture was on the sidewall of the tyre and not on<br />the run of the tyre.</p> <p>I asked him if this was not covered under the tyre guarantee. He rudely informed me that this was covered under the tyre insurance. He informed me that he gave me a tyre insurance form<br />to fill in when I purchased the tyres.</p> <p>This statement is false as Glen never gave no such form to fill in. I know this for a fact as I retain all invoices and documentation in a filind system as I am a qualified book-keeper and I file documentation on a daily basis.</p> <p>I informed Glen of this and his reaction to this was to walk to his desk and to staple the blue insurance form to my invoice. This is dishonest behaviour from a manager who does not follow procedure with his clients.</p> <p>My conclusion regarding Comaroview Shopping Centre Hi-Q Tyre Fitment branch is as follows:</p> <p>1. This branch sells defective tyres to pensioners especially if they are female.</p> <p>2. Tyres sold at<br />this branch do not last for more than 2 months without complications.</p> <p>3. All so-called guarantees are not in the client's favour and are worthless as the paper they are printed on.</p> <p>4. Glen is dishonest as there is no such thingas a tyre insurance form in the tyre industry.</p> <p>5. Glen regularly makes false statements to female pensioners asin my case.</p> <p>If you are a pensioner avoid Comaroview Shopping Centre Hi-Q Tyre Fitment branch at all costs as you will end up with endless problems and dishonest management.</p> <p>My conclusion is that all Hi-Q Tyre Fitment Centres are run by dishonest managers who are out there to con female pensioners.</p> <p> </p>
