DSTV i hope you read this......

The worst service i have ever received comes by the hand of Hi-Lite Audio & Visual cc....what should be a simple straight forward DSTV installation has become a nightmare......

On 29 March i made my first of 15 phone calls to this place to book the installation which was scheduled for 4 April 16:00.....so I make the effort to phone at 15:36 to make sure everything is in order and the lady in the operations department confirms that they will phone me and will be back within the next hour.....no phone call and no one to do the installation.

5 March arrives and I phone them again on ********** 170 and again i get excuses and they will be there at 10:30.....at 11:24 I phone them again as its an hour after the agreed time and still no phone call from them and i am told 13:00 and guess what......no calls or technicians there at 13:00 so after another two phone calls at 13:38 and 14:39 someone eventually pitched at almost 16:00(a long way from 10:30).

So as a paying customer and taking this company and their mission to be the best electronics distributor blah blah blah into consideration.....a 10 year old could have done a better job.....the technician could not get all the channels(122) to work even after testing with a new LNB. The channel then is not on the decoder anymore and he tells me that DSTV have removed it from the bouquet ????? so i made a note of this on my order card and he left seeing that all the other channels worked.

After monitoring everything for a couple of days and guess what 122 is back but no signal, so I phone them again and they agree to send someone out.....the same guy comes out after again not sticking to the agreed time and tells me its the LNB and replaces that gets the channel working and leaves.

Back onto quality.....i phoned them again on 13 April at 9:46 to advise them I'm not happy with the quality of work and i was told that the guy would phone me and come fix the installation....its now 17 April and still no one has phoned me......
