Who do I contact for answers?

Dear Hifi Corp/Sleepmaster I trust this message finds you well. I would like to inform you of my frustrating experience dealing with your online store, a first-time customer of your online service. On 30 May 2020, I came across an advert of yours for a Sleepmaster queen size bed. Now, considering I clicked on a Hifi advert and paid the money into a Hifi account, I would expect to be dealing with Hifi Corporation, right? Wrong! And how did I find this out. Let us rewind slightly. When I made the payment on 30 May, estimated delivery was 3 – 7 days with possible delays of 2 weeks due to lockdown, which I completely understand. HOWEVER. I was contacted on 08 June to confirm delivery of my bed for 11 June, at 11:00. Now being a shift worker on a two-week cycle, my spare time is precious and rare. But I rearranged my day around the delivery time and date given to me. 11:00 came and went, 12:00 came and went, 13:00 came and went. No bed. By 13:30 I was getting anxious as I had things I needed to do and an appointment out of town. I started an online chat. Most of my questions were answered with “I cannot confirm” so much for support. And this after 8 calls were left unanswered. Eventually my boyfriend got through and was told, “Hifi Corp, does not sell beds, you will have to call Sleepmaster directly” Now imagine my surprise, because Hifi Corp was happy to advertise and take my money for the bed, but when the time came to sort out my problem, blame was shifted, and we were told to sort it out ourselves. “With who?”, I ask you with blood reaching boilingpoint. Sleepmaster was even less of a help, we are still waiting for their call back. So, what I would like to know, is what my R250 delivery fee was for? To waste my time? To waste my call time? To get my hopes up and then disappoint me? Seems quite expensive because I could have done all of that on my own without spending R250. And I’m still without a bed, sleeping in the study. I would like one of the two companies involved to please contact me with delivery time and date and to stick to their arrangement. Furthermore Hifi, I would suggest if Sleepmaster cannot keep your customers happy in a professional manner, perhaps you should look at setting up a new contract with a more professional company. Sleepmaster, if your courier company is the problem, then I would suggest the same to you. I would like to reiterate, if no one had made the appointment with me, I would not have expected delivery, and this message would not have been written, as I am quite a reasonable person. That is, until you consider your time more important than mine. Yours truly and many thanks Jessica
