What's the use for insurance if you can not be covered.

Last year i purchased 2 televisions at Shop 5, Jabulani Mall, Bolani Street, Jabulani ,Soweto. I even took insurance for both tv's so i was then ****** in my house and one of my tv was ****** . I went to the shop to let them know about it , since I have insurance for both tv's i asked if can't i get another tv because I am paying insurance for it , I was told No i can't get another tv because it was ****** so what's the use of having insurance if you not covered?
