Warranty worth anything?

I took my TV in to Hi-Fi Corporation on 4 January 2015 after the picture went dead. The TV was out of normal warranty but still covered by the extended warranty. The TV was booked in and I was promised that I will be informed what is wrong. On 20 January I went to the store to inquire about it after no calls. I was told that the repairers are waiting for a new circuit board and I will definitely get the TV back within the 21 days. On the 29th I went again to find out what is happening and to point out that the 21 days has passed. I was told that it is actually 21 working days and that I should go back on 2 Feb and if the TV is not there I will be given a new one. I went on the 3rd and this time I was told that the repairers only deliver on Wednesdays (I cannot understand why I was told on Thur come Mon if the guy knew deliveries only takes place on Wed) and I will be phoned. I went Fri 6 Feb during load shedding and they could not get the info from the computer. I was promised a phone call before 18:00 (not happened) and told to come Mon when I will get either my TV or a new one. Any bets on this happening? (No Wed delivery between Fri and Mon) and they seem not keen on new one
