Very Bad Service.. Rather use Takealot !!!

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from HiFi Corporation.

I ordered a TV and was clearly promised delivery within 3–5 working days. It has now been almost 10 working days, and I am still sitting without my order. What makes this even more frustrating is that the logistics team phoned me on a Sunday afternoon to confirm delivery — yet no delivery ever took place.

When I phoned the logistics centre for answers, I was simply told to “be patient,” and informed that the logistics staff only start work at 11:00 AM. In 2026, this level of service and lack of urgency is honestly unacceptable. There seems to be no accountability, no clear communication, and no concern for the customer’s time.

As a paying customer, I expect transparency and delivery within the timeframe that was promised. Delays can happen — but poor communication and dismissive responses make it worse.

At this point, I would strongly recommend that customers consider paying a few Rand more and using Takealot instead, where delivery expectations and customer service are generally far more reliable.

Very disappointing experience.
