Told there's no promotion

Yesterday afternoon I went to festival Mall branch to buy the Sansui 19 inch TV. I saw it online and it was on special for R999.00. Si I went there and it was advertised for the normal price of R1199. When I asked the salesman he told me the promotion was the previous week. Since I couldn't access I went back home and checked on Hi Fi Corporation website and there it was, listed for R999.00. By that time it was late to go back to the shop and enquire more.<br> <br> I then tried buying online only to be told they need 24hours to verify my TV licence. I uploaded my ID only to find out today that it has been verified but unfortunately the special is no longer there.<br> <br> Why do your branches have different prices and information from what's advertised online? This is false advertising since it wasn't mentioned that it was an online special only.
