Terrible service at HiFi corp Cornubia mall.

I purchased a volkano rocket speaker on 9/03/2020 from hifi Corp at Cornubia. After a few days, I started to realise that the speaker was sounding sandy and unclear on one side. I then called hifi Corp to ask if I could bring it in store to return and replace it with another, only for them to say no as it was 7 days after purchase. The receipt clearly states that the goods are returnable within 14 days however the customer care refused to listen. I asked to speak to the manager and was put on hold for along time he didn't speak to me but rather passed a message on to the person I was speaking to, saying that we should bring it in and they would send it to get assessed which could take up to 21 days. I find this very upsetting as I was told by the store initially that I could return it within 14 days and this was in fact stipulated on the receipt as well. After a long wasted call, I received no additional help or advice. I am left frustrated and disappointed as I wasted a lot of money on a product that will now be gone to waste. I don't recommend anyone to shop here because they sell all faulty goods.
