TERRIBLE!

Hi. I went to Hifi in Promenade Mall, Mitchell's Plain on Saturday the 10th May 2025. I was laptop shopping and came across an Acer laptop. It was an old model laptop that , according the the managers on site, was on the shelf for almost a year. The laptop matched everything I was looking for and had the exact specs that I needed. I told the manager that I'm ready to make the pruchase. Now I don't know her name, but she was probably the most unprofessional, loud, rowdy, nonchalant manager I've come across. She has no regard for the customer, and when my fiance was trying to get attention to find out more about the laptop, she very rudely interrupted him and screamed to her colleague, speaking as if we weren't there. If I weren't as interested in the laptop, we would've left the store. Anyway... I still don't have the laptop because as it turns out, there's a safety lock on the laptop. We were told that they can't find the key. They wanted to CUT THE CORD OFF WITH A PAIR OS SCISSORS AND HAND THE LAPTOP TO ME WITH THE SAFETY LOCK STILL ATTACHED. When I told them this was unacceptable, I was given a shrug and told "I mos said we can't find the key"... I was stunned to say the least. Because I know that if we had to go to N1 or Kenilworth, we would be treated with respect and with decency.. They took our number in the event they find the key, but I had very little faith that we would get a call, because they took the number and walked away as of we were never there. Safe to say I still haven't received a phone call and I'm thinking now that they had no intention to sell me this laptop to begin with. I am so disappointed and more disgusted than anything else. Why can't we just get the same treatment as we would in a better area??? Is customer service that underrated that Mitchell's Plains people can't recieve it? I will be putting this on Hello Peter and I know that I'm only 1 customer, and probably won't make a difference in not going to the store ever again. But I 100% will never step foot in Hifi Promenade mall. She's a terrible excuse for a manager.
