Terms and Conditions needs to be up dated
Tv broke within 8 months of purchase. According to HI Corp terms and conditions and I quote "In the unfortunate event that your purchased product becomes faulty/ defective, you may opt to have it taken to any HiFi Corp. You will be entitled to the following option of as per the CPA (after goods has been inspected and assessed): Have such product repaired Have product replaced Be refunded the price paid" And according to the CPA ""It's important to note that a supplier cannot force a consumer to choose to have the goods repaired, if the consumer prefers a refund or replacement." Yet today when I took in my tv I was told I dont have the right to get a new tv even though it is a manufacturing fault, the best they can do for me is repair it. Then what happens 4 months from now if the tv breaks again? Then I will have to fix it on my own charges. And we all know if something broke once it will always break.
