*****ing from the poor!!

<p>I purchased a plasma TV set from HiFi on the 9th of December 2016. I received a sealed package. I travellled home to Limpopo and upon opening the TV set which is a gift for my family we realised it was damaged. I returned the TV set on my return to Joburg which was on the 27th of December 2016. HiFi received the TV set and sent it to Sinotec. A few days later I was told to pay a further R3500 for repair. Why am I paying for a cracked product which I received like this. I cannot afford this and I am not responsible for paying. Please give me a working TV or my money back. I will also go to the consumer ombudsman or similar to get protection. This is not treating customers fairly.</p>
