Shocking service by Hi-Fi Corporation Fourways Crossing

I took my laptop into the branch to be fixed on Saturday 2 April 2016 whilst it was still under warranty as it would not switch on. I was uinformed telephonically that I would have to pay for it to be fixed - when I queried why as it was still under warranty, I was told that sometimes if you mess with the operating system it voids the warranty. I told the lady that I had done no such thing and I wanted an explanation why i had to pay - and how much as well. After waiting a couple of weeks I called again and was told that the reason was that it was a "work side issue" - this means absolutely nothing and even the sales lady told me she didnt understand what it meant. To date and despite numerous calls from me to the branch, and ONE call from the manager over a week ago, I stil have NO IDEA WHY I have to pay, what the ACTUAL problem is, and they have not yet even sent me an invoice - I also assume that they havent even BEGUN to fix it yet.

I have no problem paying if it is an issue that is validly not covered by the warranty and if this can be proved to me, but nobody can even tel me what is wrong with it, nevermind any further information.

SHOCKING SERVICE FROM EMPLOYEES WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT AND HAVE NO REGARD FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
