Shocking Customer Apathy

Utterly disgusting customer service experienced at the Park Meadow store today. My husband and I walked into the store at mid-day to overwhelmingly booming music and several employees just standing around, resting their arms on tv boxes. None approached us to assist us but rather carried on talking amongst each other. I approached and asked an employee to assist my husband and I and she called an extremely rude young man who looked like he was doing us a favour helping us. On enquiry about a promotional item we saw online, he told us 'he didn't have that' , didn't offer any further assistance and walked away. The music in store was so loud we had to almost shout to be heard, it was an appalling environment and the staff were so unfriendly, hostile even and unhelpful. Only after I approached the Manager, did he find someone to help us. After explaining our technical requirements, his employee then still sold us a faulty unit. They didn't even bother to listen to us. The staff at the Park Meadow store have no concept of the customer experience. Their attitudes were disgraceful and certainly not representative of the brand. I vowed never ever again to set foot into that store and now I am forced to face the ordeal of returning the faulty item, having to endure loud music, rude staff and an unbearable experience again. Shocking! Disgraceful! Warning- avoid this store at all costs. Spend your money where you are welcomed as a valued customer not a hindrance.
