Refund complain

I put a R5700 laybuy with Hifi Corporation Jabulani Mall and now I am requesting a refund. I have lost my receipt but can prove that I have paid them as I do have proof of payments however the consultant there has told me that I will not have my refund without a receipt therefore I will not get back my R5700
