Poor service and bad attitude of staff

I initially went to the Cape Gate store and was told that the store closed down and I should rather go to N1 City branch. I wanted to buy a Smart Tv. I walked in at the N1 City at 4:30 and was assisted by a sales agent in record time.

I then wanted to pay for the tv and was quite frustrated that there was only one cashier assisting clients at the till. I then asked whether there are not any other tills that can be opened to assist us. I was amazed at the appalling response from the cashier (Dominique Thomas) with a really bad attitude "the store is closing that's why we only have one till open"

This to me was an unacceptable response or should I say very rude and a non client centric response. I mentioned that it is poor customer service. But I think what got me really angry was the fact that this lady had no respect and had no competence when it comes to being client centric. The appropriate response should have been "I apologise for the inconvenience we will try to help as soon as possibleally angry was the fact that this lady had no respect and had no competence when it comes to being client centric. The appropriate response should have been "I apologise for the inconvenience we will try to help as soon as possible.

Eventually when I was assisted she completed the transaction with no emotion or remorse for her bad behavior, didn't give me my slip and called the next customer, saying "next"

I then asked "don't I get a slip?" And another helpful staff member brought my slip as she was making a copy thereof. I would have expected Dominique to say : thank you mam, we just making a copy of your slip and my colleague will give it to, wolf you mind standing that side so I can assist the next customer?"

People with such bad attitudes like Dominique ***** your brand and create a bitter and poor customer experience for the company. I will never buy anything from the N1 City store again. And I will unfortunately share this with my friends, family and acquaintances.
