PERSONAL INFORMATION DISCLOSED - POPI

Unfortunately there is no zero rating here so I had to give a 1. I purchased a cellphone from Hi-Fi Corporation (online) last week and it was delivered this morning. Upon receiving the package I noticed the delivery note stuck to the package from the courier had ALL my personal information i.e. my FULL NAME, CELL NUMBER, ADDRESS and even my ID NUMBER!!! Obviously this is wrong I mean everyone who handled the package from the store, to the courier etc.. was privy to MY personal information and this has put me at risk for ***** and other attacks ! You CANNOT EVER display the customer's FULL personal information in that manner! - that is a POPI ACT BREACH as well as absolute GROSS NEGLIGENCE!! What guarantee do I have that my personal information was not sold or misused?? I might as well have put an ad on the newspaper or on social media accounts with all my personal details displayed for everyone to see. Can someone PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW AND WHY this happened??? I have been shopping online every single month for years and NEVER have a I had a package delivered to myself with my personal details (apart from my name and address) noted thereon for all to see!! Someone needs to be held liable and accountable for this gross negligence.
