Pathetic

I purchased 2 dustbins online, received my order a week later just to discover both dustbins had dents in it, I immediately reported it, was informed they will attend to my query which they did, within two weeks I received a follow up and the consultant yesterday said that I can take the items to my closest branch Promenade, he will also find out if they can replace or refund it, upon his second call he said Promenade has no stock and that I can go there for a refund, I told him a refund is not what I want, I asked him if there are no other stores that can send me 2, he said no all stores don't have stock and that is not possible, the only thing I can do now is take the items to Promenade and get a refund, I told him no that's unacceptable as the P.E branch where these 2 dustbins came from should have made sure their goods was in excellent condition as its going to a paid customer. Here is where I found the consultant of yesterday story ludicrous when it was mentioned that amongst all your stores that there is no longer stock, so this morning I went on your website, order the exact dustbins but for today's price of R299, I once again ordered 2, but did not fulfil payment section as I just wanted to generate an order number and guess what, lo and behold there's stock of these items, there's even free delivery etc, it angers me to think that this person "all being nice" **** to me saying there's no stock nowhere and go get a refund yet this morning I have an order number #***, where is the integrity of this person lying to me. I will take this matter further as there's no way I believed that within all of your stores there would no longer be dustbins available. My reference number received from the consultant yesterday was *** and my complaint was solved as per sms. Totally unacceptable. I will await you're feedback before I take the next step as I'm more livid now than before.
