Not satisfied with purchase but not allowed to return

Good morning

I've bought a Sansui 32 inch TV at HIFI 6 days ago at Willowbridge Mall Western Cape and while the service provided was great, the TV is not what I have expected. Very very bad sound. So I got a different TV at PnP yesterday. So I wanted to return the Sansui back to HiF for a refund (simply because I am not happy with the product) but the manager says that it's not possible unless there was a technical issue with it.

Is this correct?
