Non-delivery of Certain Essential Products - How Is That Fair?

I ordered a laptop online on the 6th April. I've received confirmation that the order would only be delivered after the 17th April once the lockdown will be lifted. Ok as we all know the lockdown was extended to end op April, just to be changed again to soft lockdown of Level 4. I've checked the status of my order and it still says that delivery will take place after the 17th April, this date has not been amended on their tracking at all. Every time I contact them I'm told that it will only be delivered after lockdown has been lifted. I did see that their website indicates that deliveries will take place for essential items. Phones and tablets fall under the essential items but not laptops, which does not make sense as I bought the laptop for my daughter so she can do her online schoolwork. The agent I have been chatting to does acknowledge that laptops are essential but unfortunately they can't help me with deliveries for online orders for laptops!! Where is the logic in that? So if I want it delivered to me I have to go to their shop, which she confirmed will be opened from tomorrow when we go over to Level 4, and then I can have it delivered to me??? If I go to the shop I can just as well get it there and then. Plus we are encouraged to rather stay at home so online shopping is the more safer option. But my biggest argument is if they can do deliveries for phones, tablets, printers etc then why can't they deliver laptops?
