Honestly this place is pathetic. My bf bought a 65” inch Samsung TV “on special” from HiFi Corp for R11 999. The website had no problem deducting the money from his account.

Later that day, he gets an email from “JD Group” to which they say oh sorry! we had a technical error and we cannot fulfill the purchase anymore, please give us your banking details for the refund. If you have an issue with our response, contact the ombudsman.

I mean, wth! First of all, there was no explanation on the actual fault / error on the website and what that means. Second of all, he emailed them back stating that he was unclear to which they ignored he’s response. A follow up email was sent and yet again, all 3 people added in the email from the group ignored him.

They now still have his R11 999 and fail to satisfy the customer. I’ve seen many complaints from previous years to date about all companies under the JD Group name. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I am extremely annoyed!!!
