No delivery of purchased wahing machine

I purchased a washing machine online on November 29, 2021. The next day i received an sms confirming that my machine would be delivered on the 2nd of December and i should arrange for someone to be at home. I took a day off, stayed at home on the 2nd but no delivery came. I contacted customer care on the 3rd, was given a complaint number and told someone has been assigned to my case. On my Monday someone called Gift phoned me to say they are following up on the matter and will get beck to me. I am guessing thats what they said because i could hardly hear them and told them so. After we got cut off, Gift did not call me back. I went on facebook, and was told they are following up and someone would be in touch. Its more than a week since the 'delivery date' and i have received no useful information as to when my machine will be delivered. No apology, no explanation. This is the worst service i have ever received after buying online. I should have stuck with tried and tested Takealot. HiFi when i made the purchase it was because i needed the washing machine! So please deliver! Is that a lot to ask?
