Neon tablet stops working after just two months of purchasing

I recently bought a tablet for my daughter it's no even been three months and it stopped working. I didn't keep receipt but when I took it to fix they said it's a manufacturer fault can't be fixed. Very disappointing because my daughter has a new tablet that does not work what type of brand do you keep.
