Negligence At Its Best

Posting on Behalf of a friend. Hi - Fi Corporation (Retail Park. BOKSBURG) is the absolute worst place ever. We had taken my phone son in for repairs, which cost us R3804, which handed in 09/03/23, two days later i received a call from them , advising me that the phone had been still in for repairs and would contact me if there was any further updates with regards to my sons phone. To only then, i opted to go in myself to go and check on the progress with the repair ; 22/03/23, to be informed that the phone had alreaded been collected. Yet all in the same breath, i had receievd a " customer repair manual book -in" which needed to handed in with my ID and proof of purchase in order to verify the person collecting the product is the correct person. Please keep in mind. The person that had claimed to be, had the exact same page that i had received, and no other verification was done.

It only be so disappointed. The verification had already been done, and nothing was picked up. To be told that the manager leaves at half past 3, with no one contacting with regards to any updates, to having to go back and forth to go and find out for myself what the progress is, to be told " its under investigation" - all ive asked was for my refund and a new phone in replacement, but yet nothing has still been done. How do they operate? Why are they implementing systems for security puporses and they not even being adhered to by their own staff members? Why am i have to break my back for an answer for my son?

They are THEE most *********** company i have ever come across. I highly advise that they are to not be used, at all with regards to anything. When asking the staff for information, they unable to answer me.

Im angry and disappointed. Words cant even begin to explain my anger.

I warn everyone to please NEVER EVER USE THEM!!!!!!!!!
