Lost my fridge I bought nearly a week ago!

I bought a fridge (cash, mind you) and paid the R350 delivery on Sunday the 08/04. The cashier and salesperson BOTH promised delivery by Monday or Tuesday. Come Wednesday, I still don't have a fridge. Thursday, still nothing. Friday, I'm starting to get concerned. I phone them on Saturday (today, 14/04) only to have the first person to answer cut the call after I enquire. I phone AGAIN, this time I have some success ONLY TO BE TOLD THEY HAVE NO OUTSTANDING DELIVERIES. No record of my fridge or even my address. I'm pretty sure that is NOT how one is supposed to treat a customer, especially not someone who paid cash upfront for an appliance as opposed to putting it on credit.

It took them long enough but they EVENTUALLY tracked down my supposedly lost sales order. After much headache and broken promises, my fridge finally arrived at 11.30 today. I would NOT recommend Hi-Fi Corporation Amanzimtoti. Rather pay the couple of Rand extra and buy from someone else.
