Laptoppurchase

I bought a laptop on credit in November. It has a stiff buttons and mouse was not responding fast. I did not have a mouse as I was used to using the wireless mouse. Some of the issues that I had with my laptop was Bluetooth that kept disconnecting but that was not the big deal. On the 9th April my laptop was working fine and next morning laptop did not come on. It was Sunday the 10th before the floods. I took my laptop to hifi Springfield. I had to make several calls last weekend to check the status of my machine as I use it for work only to come to a surprise that laptop is water damaged according to their claim and I am asked to pay 8500 to repair it. This is ridiculous. My machine never came in contact with water.
