Laptop Return

I brought an acer laptop it's 3 months old, opened my laptop this morning to find a terrible screen malfunction, no crack, never been dropped, not a scratch on the entire laptop. I went into the store at park meadows to be told I must pay a fee to book it in, when it has a year warrantee on it and it is within the prescribed time frame. I was dismissed and was told to go to acer this is totally unacceptable, and it should have been replaced without any hesitation, and have all the documentation to support the purchase, I am expecting a prompt response and replacement of my laptop from Hifi Corp. Although no response has been received yet.
