Laptop not charging

We bought a laptop for a school for a teacher, on 26/11/2105 at Hi-Fi Corp Carnival Mall, the laptop was locked in the safe as it was school holidays. Yesterday when the teacher switched it on he realised that the laptop was not charging, I took it back to the branch and explained the situation. The customer service agent checked the laptop and said he need to send it in and it will take 14-21 days, I said we need the laptop today as the teacher needs it for work. He then took a bettery of a dislpay unit and it worked. I spoke to the manager and asked him just to replace the battery he refused, I the asked for a refund and he refused, as per the CPA please see the website terms and conditions

In the unfortunate event that your purchased product becomes faulty or defective, you can opt to have it taken to any HiFi Corp to be seen to. You will be entitled to the following option of as per the CPA:
Have such product repaired
Have product replaced
Be refunded the price paid\

I am very upset about the service I have received by this specific branch of the JD Group.
"
