I want my money back and an apology from these people.
I bought a Sansui notebook at Hi-Fi corp back in March and it started giving me problems with charging within a month or so.I returned it at the Arbour Crossing branch it was taken in for assessment. I was called to come in for my credit two weeks later. A lady at the help desk asked a guy to assist with choosing what I wanted for my credit. When I realised I had to add R300 to get another one I told the consultant I wanted nothing more than that and after I couldn't get help or my money. I was told to wait until they get stock of the unit I wanted. I then requested my money back and they said if I wanted money I must go to the Springfield branch. I left the shop to go buy airtime and phoned customer service. The lady at customer service was told they had explained to me that they sent me to Springfield because they didn't have enough cash (R2699)... Which was a lie, but because I was the customer and they were colleagues they stood together and ****. Secondly, I don't understand how it is the customer's problem that the store doesn't have money but I was inconvenienced and that was that. They ended up making me sign some papers, that my money was to be deposited into my account on Monday. Today is Tuesday and I haven't heard from Hifi. So much disrespect from one company! I'm appalled by the service I got and I don't wish Hifi on any customer. I always heard people complain about them and I didn't believe. I regret myself.
