HiFi*******ion with Alva Appliances

HelloPeter, I bought a Alva Gas electric heater at HifiCorporation Clarewater in shop no 7b Westrand Lifestyle on the 08 June 2018 for R1299. 90 at 2:36pm.To my Suprise the 2bars don't switch on on the electric part. The gas part is working. The box was sealed and I have the invoice. I took the heater back yesterday and they called Alva in Cape Town. They told me Alva wants to assess the heater first and it will take 21working days and that's their policy. All other appliances do get replaced but Alva does not permit replacement. Its hardly a moth I bought the heater and it's faulty. My kids are sitting at home in this cold because I left the expensive heater in the shop. TO MAKE MATTERS WIRSE IT WILL ONLY BE COLLECTED ON FRIDAY. I AM VERY UPSET BECAUSE I THOUGHT I WAS BUYING A QUALITY PRODUCT.
