Hifi corporation sold me broken TV

On Thursday 22 July 2021 I bought a 50 inch sansui TV for 5000 at hifi corp at fourways crossing. The following I switched on the TV and it wasn't working. I went back to the store on Sunday to ask for an assistance because I haven't used it is still new. The store manager couldn't help me in the matter because she think I broke the tv even when I told her I didn't break it and that there is no any physical sign to show that I broke the tv. Can I be helped because I can't just lose the money.
