HiFi Corporation is seriously LowFi in East London

I took out an extended guarantee for a Defy dishwasher on purchase. When it suddenly failed to take in water, I called on the local East London branch of WiFi Corporation on 18th of February where it was bought. The claim was registered, an identitiy number was given to me, and I was told that the machine will be collected, the quote will be obtained which will be relayed to head office, payment will be effected, and my machine will be back. Estimated time, one week.

I have heard nothing. On enquiry to Precious Shanangu, Iwas told that she will notify me within 2 days.

Nothing.

8th of March. I phoned and insisted in speaking to to the manager. He/she was busy on a call, they would get back to me.

Nothing

10th March. Got hold of the manager. Gave her an earful about the complete lack of customer care. She PROMISED me she would get back to me the same day.

Nothing.

My question/ concern is: can they honour this guarantee? Do I have to warn all HiFi Corporation customers to be very careful about this extended guarantee?
