HiFi Corp/Mellerware : shockingly bad attitude

I purchased a Mellerware kettle from Hi Fi Corp , Mall@ Carnival branch in May 2017. The kettle gave in a few days past 1 year but the box states "2 year warranty " so fine. I took it in to the above branch on Sat morning, to be told it must be sent back to Mellerware for repair. Today the 21.05.18 I was informed by Hi Fi Corp that Mellerware will not even collect the kettle , but I must bring it to them in Kempton Park. This was said by Catherine at Mellerware ( Tel : ********** ) What a shocking attitude ! Hi Fi Corp please do something here for me YOUR customer.
