Hifi Corp : Where you buy Penny wise and Pound foolish

Hello fellow readers. Just a quick update on my service dissatisfaction from this company. It would appear that my complaint was in fact heard by customer care and they forwarded it to the manager. I received a call today from said manager, however no apology was forthcomming. I am aware of the procedure for exchange, this was never the issue. The problem was that once all was said and done, it was the responsibility of the department to make sure that a replacement was in fact in store and available for exchange. It does not help, if corporations have procedures in place when staff are incompetant in actually performing their responsibilities in following such procedures. This is where deception happens, which only leads to angry outbursts and eventually bad revies, which in the case of this brand, seems to be escalating on a daily basis. In my case, I had to carry all extra costs, gave sufficient timeline and still had to walk away with capital loss and no replacement. This could have been avoided if hifi corp had simply looked at the option of performing an interbranch transfer of same laptop and carried the courier costs if stock ordering would have taken more than 8 days to be received in store. Start taking responsibility for your staff's actions Hifi Corp and look to suggestions for better service.
