Hifi Corp - no one knows the warranty period

I bought a lalela mini ups demo model at your N1 city store and about 6 and half months later it stopped working, Contacting your customer service with the below email, I took the device in. I had to enquire what the status was a few later, i didn't even receive a call i was told it cannot be fixed as it was out of warranty. How does this happen when you have different views in your company on warranties of items???

The email Closest Store: N1 CITY - HiFiCorp Comment: Good day. I purchased a demo lalela wifi ups and now the battery mode does not kick in. What is your warranty on demo products and does wifi Corp assist in fixing the product.
