HIFI Corp Hisense TV

I bought a Hisense TV from HIFI Corp in June 2021 and was told that it is a 2021 Model. The TV has been working well on Showmax, then the new Showmax was introduced but when I try to download it, it says I should update the software of the TV. I tried several time to update but it could not. It indicated that Showmax only update TV's from 2020. I went to HIFI Corp to explain my situation then they logged a call with Hisense. Hisense came to my place to try to update it then it could not update. Then they took the TV to Hisense to try to fix the matter but could not fix. They send me an sms to say they have completed the repair. I called them finding out if the TV has been updated and Showmax will work. They then indicated that they could not update it so they are speaking to Showmax to find out how they can assist. As a write this review they are going to deliver the TV without updating it.

My complain is that HIFI Corp sold me a 2019 TV in 2021 and when I bought it they indicated that it is a 2021 model. So they ****** me by selling an old model tv instead of a new model. Hence it doesn't update the software because its a 2019 model or even 2018. If it was a 2020 or 2021 Model it will update when I update it. All my friends that bought TV's from 2020 model managed to update the software without any problem.

Please assist me to see how HIFI Corp can compensate me because they ****** me giving me wrong information and selling me an old TV. I want a Hisense 2021 Model TV.
