HiFi Corp does not seem to honour some Black Friday deals.

On the 27 Nov 2020 I created an online account to order a Sinotec 50-Inch UHD Digital LED TV BF Promo (Product Code ***) that was offered for R3999.00 on a Black Friday Special. When attempting to pay for the item a lengthy notice which seemed to have no relevance (the exact wording of which I can not recall) appeared in red and would not allow me to proceed with the purchase. I assumed this to be some sort of a technical glitch and tried throughout the day and the next day to order the item without success. On the following Monday I logged into my account only to notice that my cart was now updated to reflect the original buying price of R4999.00. Hifi Corp customer service explained that this item was out of stock at the time of me ordering. I find this explanation hard to believe considering that the item was miraculously back in stock after the weekend and had a 5 day delivery time anyway. It seemed to me that Hifi Corp entices customers to their website without actually intending to sell certain well prices items in the hope that some may settle for other products. It should also be said that I was specifically asked if I could prove the rejection of my order online. When I explained that I could not because I hadn't thought to take a screen shot my complaint was rejected.
