Hifi Corp Clearwater

The service at the Clearwater branch is unacceptable, I went to buy a TV and was denied due to TV licence. The TV license was purchased from Hifi Corp in 2021 with a purchase of a TV. I had gone through to the store on Saturday whereby the manager advised I should come through with the owner of the TV licence the next day and the tv will be issued upon her presence. The next day going in, there was an EXTREMELY rude manager by the name of Doreen who advised that the account was never created and never paid, though a invoice has NEVER been received with the initial purchase to process any payment of a TV licence. She had then called SABC who advised that the licence has been canceled without reason. That being said, the manager again stated the new tv licence needs to be purchased THOUGH it is a hifi corporation mess up whereby they have neglected their duty to issue an official tv licence. The manager also advised that it was not her problem as it was an online purchase and there is nothing that can be done. This is daylight ******* from hifi corp and them refusing to take accountability for their mistake and lack of following the necessary procedure. The process of dealing with the branch was an extreme waste of time and not to mention the over counter staff yelling at us regarding how a TV licence works to cover up their mistake!!
