Hifi corp advertising items on Sale they do not stock

I was looking for a cordless kettle and I came upon a Mellaware kettle advertised online at Hifi corp for Sale at R99 down from R168, which was a good deal.

So this morning I called Springfield branch in Durban and spoke to a sales agent and he tells me they do not have any, so I asked him are you out of stock and when are you expecting more stock to arrive.

Then the cracker, he says we did not have any stock for a long time and we do not keep it, and no stock expected.

Now tell me how can you advertise items and that too on sale and not stock the item, what sort of **** are you running, if I hadn't called in I would like so many others rocked up at your store and left empty handed,

That just not how you run a sustainable and ethical business, or is it part of the plan to get customers into your store.
